News - Moonwalk Pop Up Cafe - 10th June 2017...
The BeGreen office was transformed on Saturday 10th of June into a wonderful café! The café was the idea of 4 young girls, Erin & Isla Ross and Abigail & Anna Sheridan who were fundraising for the Moonwalk that they were taking part in. The girls did a fantastic job of making the office into a lovely pop up café even down to the finer details of table cloths and hand-picked roses from the garden. The menu was delightful and there was everything from sandwiches to scones, tablet and even a huge flowing malteaser cake! The girls made sure everyone had a table and were fabulous at taking orders, making cups of tea & coffee and serving the hungry customers! The day was a fantastic success and they made a staggering £601.44! Not only had they been on their feet all day but it was that same night that they walked the 10k Moonwalk. They started at just before midnight and finished around 3am, well done girls! BeGreen was so proud to be the host of the fundraising cafe and delighted that the girls had such a great day, there wasn’t a single cake or sandwich left in sight! (We were hoping for left overs for Monday morning!) The final fundraising total was well over £1000, congratulations girls for raising so much for such an important charity! |
