The Sandpiper Trust - £3000 Community Windpower are delighted to have donated £3000 to The Sandpiper Trust. This money has been used to purchase life-saving equipment so that a local doctor can provide an on call service. In the rural areas surrounding Dunbar, residents were concerned that there wasn’t enough cover in case of medical emergencies, so this new service will be a welcome addition to the area. The Sandpiper Trust is a small Scottish Charity where all money donated goes towards the provision of medical equipment for specially trained doctors and nurses to use. The trust is run solely by volunteers. A spokesperson for Community Windpower said, “This is such a fantastic project and we are proud to be part of it.
