News - Dunbar Running Club - Hill Race at Oldhamstocks Village Show...
BeGreen is pleased to be supporting another summer fair this weekend. A little different this time from our usual donations as we are funding prizes for the Oldhamstocks Village Show Hill Race. The £100 donation will go towards prizes for the winners of the race. The Oldhamstocks race is a traditional and popular local 6.5km race in the beautiful and scenic countryside. This year Dunbar Running Club have stepped in to organise the event. It's not just the hill race taking place, it's set to be a wonderful family day out with stalls, crafts, children's races, baking and not to forget the Flower Show itself. Anouska, BeGreen Community Coordinator, "It's great to see the return of so many village shows and fetes this year after not having any during the pandemic. It really is a great way to bring the community together and raise funds for the village too. I'm looking forward to popping up - not to run though!" The show is being held on Saturday 20th August at 1.30pm in Oldhamstocks Village and the race begins at 12pm.
