News - Local swimming group receives £1,000 - March 2014...
North Ayrshire Amateur Swimming Club (NAASC) have recently received a sponsorship donation of £1,000 from Community Windpower Ltd and BeGreen Dalry. The Swimming Club, a registered charity promoting swimming for children aged 8 years and upwards of all backgrounds and abilities, has approximately 80 members from across all areas of North Ayrshire. The Club trains at 3 pools (Auchenharvie, Largs and Kilbirnie). NAASC hosts four competitive swimming Meets each year and this donation will contribute towards the costs of the first meet in May. Sandra Scott of BeGreen Dalry met with Derek Clark and members of NAASC at Largs Pool on 3rd March to receive the donation, as pictured opposite. |
