News - School trip to the Maritime Museum for Glengarnock P4/5 pupils - June 2015...
CWL is proud to provide funding for Glengarnock Primary on their trip to the Maritime Museum. P4/5 pupils from Glengarnock visited the Maritime Museum as part of Science Week, and learned lots of information about James Watt and his successes as a Scottish inventor and engineer. The trip also included the opportunity to explore MV Kyles, as can be seen in the picture. The children had a lot of fun guessing what all the items were within the 1920s home – especially the ‘stone pig’ (hot water bottle)! |
