Community Windpower delighted to fund school trip to Winmarleigh Hall for St. Palladius Pupils - May 2015

Community Windpower are delighted to hear that St. Palladius had another wonderful trip to Winmarleigh Hall in Lancashire. St. Palladius P5 and P6 pupils accompanied by staff and our very own Educational Ranger Pete Boustead, experienced lots of activities during the week, including raft building, archery, obstacle courses, sensory experiences and even abseiling!

Jon said “I am proud of myself because I got to the top of the tower”, whilst Molly said that “I achieved standing on top of the telegraph pole and jumping off and catching the trapeze”

We hope that the children take away some great memories and can use the skills and confidence that they have gained from their trip towards their classwork in the upcoming terms. Community Windpower were thrilled to contribute over £5,000 towards this school residential trip as for some, it is the first time the pupils have stayed away from home without their families and they experience many new and challenging activities. Thank you to all involved including the teachers and staff at NST for ensuring everyone had a fantastic week of educational fun.
